Tenacious Bee Collective will be a year old on June 4 2019. Till date we have been a self funded collective run by group of friends who are keen on saving the bees. As we start on this long and adventurous journey, we find ourselves fortunate to have had the support of like minded people, without whom this project would not have been where it is today. After the overwhelming feedback we have received, we believe it is time to invite other like minded people into our Family.

We are keen to hit our first birthday with a bang- and an offer you will find hard to refuse! Due to our small scale operations and our resolve to develop non-exploitative beekeeping practices, we are only capable of supplying our rare Himalayan honeys to 100 new members in 2019-20, selected on a first come first serve basis.

By joining us on our journey, you will become an integeral part of a community of artists, farmers, apiarists, scientists and nature lovers, who are working effortlessly to do their bit in saving the environment. Apart from getting seasonal honey every month, community members will be privy to all our activities on the ground, as well as get exclusive previews of all the many natural products we are developing with our village community using beeswax and other Bee goodness.

By adopting a Beehive, you will be assuring beekeepers a nominal monthly income, which will allow them the financial space to develop and protect these beehives without needing to exploit them. Not only will you be helping repopulate a critical species, you will also be helping us support beekeepers in developing new, non-exploitative methods of honey production, as well as allowing them the space to develop new products. Tenacious is a social enterprise that has been incorporated as a for-profit Private limited company. We believe that real social change will happen when every activity yields a sustainable financial incentive for everyone involved. While we are a private limited company, we will publish our financial statements with notes to all our members. To date, Tenacious Bee is a self-funded project, we expect to break-even as a community by the end of 2019.
